I'd like to think I will pick at this just to distract myself from all the other shit I have to deal with now, but it's not likely to happen anytime in the foreseeable future. I have an obituary to write, and all manner of other things to deal with for a long while. My mother looked really bad Tuesday, went into the ICU Wednesday, and died Friday evening at 9:15 PM local time. Multiple organ failure, cause as yet to be determined. Talk about an unexpected kick in the nuts. She was 55. -- D.
