Let's do it the other way. Move 1.6.0 to a branch to finalize, and put the new
patch in trunk/ which I think really should be the communal sandbox for
ongoing work, unless the work is known to be substantially broken, like G's
ongoing QT4 twiddling.

I may get time to do my last promised bits of hackery this week. I'm trying
to decide whether it would be best to jump back into normal life, or just
take a little time while everybody can understand why I would. I'm losing
money up the gazoo every day I sit here, but some things in life are more
important, and money problems occur over a long timescale.

Like health problems.

The funeral went very, very badly. I always knew my uncle was a pompous
asshole, but he really outdid himself. He gave a two hour sermon that could
have been reduced to "I believe the woman we're supposed to be honoring here
today is in Hell now, and I am too weak-minded and hopeless to bring myself
to ever once do the appropriate thing."

Fuck you.

Uh, sorry for the digression. I'm still sifting through a lot of ashes in my
head, but I'm getting over it.
