This is also my impression of the situation. There is a "safe" time windows
which wrecks the case.

One another thing that may be annoying is that whenever
Settings->Configure Rosegarden... dialog is opened, the warnings
appear again after pressing Apply or Ok button. Maybe it is enough to
show them during startup ?
