OK, I put in a file of 479 seconds (the first big file I had handy) and performed similar manipulations to my first attempt at reproducing this, plus I fooled around with the zoom slider too, from 2.5% to 2000%, no problems. Just for good measure, I did actually build from the 1.7.0 tarball too, with the same results. I'm sure your crash is completely real, but I can't repeat it, and the trace doesn't give much of a hint exactly what's going wrong. Something with drawing the audio previews, it looks like, but what, and why? I'm afraid I don't know. -- D.
