I agree, we should preferably avoid deactivation, but in some cases it
still might be suitable.
- I see as main target : port rg to qt4, make it work
- Some errors may be easier to debug having a running rg-version.
(I'd like to be shure to do it right, or not at all - I (or anyone)
would have to came back to it anyway..)
- In order to make some features work, a better understanding of
qt4/rg/etc.. is required, that I may obtain in the process of
development / debuging, so I'd prefere to came back to it later
Let me suggest to use
"//@@@ deactivated!"
as comment string, so we can at least easily find the places and count
the number of occurences.
Let's use it rarely though, and better ask the list for a solution, if
we are not able to do it ourself.
find with:
grep -lir "@@@" * | egrep "cpp$"
(lists the files)
and
grep -nir "@@@" *
(lists the lines)
