Dear Chris,
Thank you for the quick reply.
This is what I'd like to do:
1. Replace, where appropriate, all 'm_cfg' variants with 'cfg'.
2. remove from each .cpp file and .h header the Qsettings argument.
This will add to our error count since other function that call on the function
will not be updated.
After all of this is finished:
3. Go back and fix function call to remove QSettings arguments from their call.
If you approve this will keep me busy for quite some time.
Another option is to just stick with #1 and rename the argument in the function
declaration to something like 'oldCfg.' Then we can do #2, and #3 three
together afterwards.
I'm sort of liking that alternative--do #1, then #2 & #3 together--since we
could keep the error count down as I do .startGroup / .endGroup mathcing along
with unifying the variable name to 'cfg'.
When that is finished, I could just change the argument declarations and
definitions one file at a time and fix any function call errors that are
related. That seems more methodical.
Sincerely,
Julie S.
PS--I'm happy to here from Emanuel an Michael as well.
