Sorry if I'm being dumb - I get the feeling I'm doing a bit of that at the
moment but

I think that's the constructor which contains:
TempoRuler::TempoRuler(RulerScale *rulerScale,
                       RosegardenGUIDoc *doc,
                       QMainWindow *parentMainWindow,
                       double xorigin,
                       int height,
                       bool small,
                       QWidget *parent,
                       const char *name) :
        QWidget(parent, name),

The newline after the parent class colon looks a little unorthodox - is it
maybe one compiler doesn't mind and one does?
