The versioning is more a fun thing for me. Somehow I tend to expect *a stable* version for an "x dot zero" release though and an even more stable version for a "dot one". We currently can't say this of the qt4 release with its minutely SegFaults ... Who said we need a version number at all. What about a random name.. Rosegarden Regrown 2009 Using the date (year) is nice idea. That's what I do with my own files. I also appreciate, if it's possible to distinguish between beta, rc and stable release. We may add a stable suffix to the final release. We may add some more functionallity before releasing that build, but let's first make sure the core is usable, before thinking about it. Having a build-in synth is a nice idea tough. - Emanuel ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by: SourcForge Community SourceForge wants to tell your story. http://p.sf.net/sfu/sf-spreadtheword _______________________________________________ Rosegarden-devel mailing list [email protected] - use the link below to unsubscribe https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/rosegarden-devel
