Bah. .. we add some glossy buttons and the users will eat it ! ;-)

The versioning is more a fun thing for me.
Somehow I tend to expect *a stable* version for an "x dot zero" release though
and an even more stable version for a "dot one".

We currently can't say this of the qt4 release with its minutely SegFaults ...

Who said we need a version number at all.
What about a random name.. Rosegarden Regrown 2009

Using the date (year) is nice idea. That's what I do with my own files.
I also appreciate, if it's possible to distinguish between beta, rc
and stable release.
We may add a stable suffix to the final release.

We may add some more functionallity before releasing that build,
but let's first make sure the core is usable, before thinking about it.
Having a build-in synth is a nice idea tough.
