Dear RG team,
Just as I was starting to get productive and ready to work, I have to take a
break.
* I have a couple school projects to knock out.
* My music studio / school / rg programming computer -- an old PIII 500Mhz --
is getting replaced. I just got all the parts for the computer and my
daughter, and I are assembling it tonight. It won't be a dream machine, but a
2.3Ghz AMD 64 x 2 with 2G of memory has got to beat my old PIII with 768M any
day.
* I also got some new MIDI goodies coming, but that is another story.
So, I'm imagining, I won't really be able to get back to things for a good week
maybe two.
I just have a lot on my plate, and I have to take a the downtime hit some time.
I have to keep my studio up and running as much as possible in the process for
school related tasks, so that makes the move that much more complicated since I
have to eventually harvest a couple key components from the old beast.
I'm hoping all of this will make music making, the studio and a my RG work much
more fruitful.
I'll be watching the boards and responding, but unable to do any coding. My
family would kill me if I used the family computer for all of this. They'd
never get on.
Sorry to drop it in the middle of things, I don't think I broke anything, I
just left some code looking a little messy.
I'll be back--hopefully for a long stay--shortly.
