I could probably export the tempo as a MIDI and hack together an
external script to apply it to my MIDI file properly, but this sounds
like something that should really be part of Rosegarden itself.

I'm a developer myself but I'm not familiarized with the Rosegarden
codebase. Though if you can figure out what the sanest way of
implementing this is, I can give it a shot.
