The crash in aveverum.rg is a little different, but related. > I'll look around for other files, but as soon as you have aveverum.rg which > is a guaranteed crash, > that should be enough. Murphy's law: the 2 files which I really used, both > crash.. We have three that always produce crashes now. That is plenty of data. Now we just need to figure out why this is going wrong. I don't have any idea off hand. What's the pattern? What's the key? Why is this happening here, but not there? I really don't know, and I have a full plate already at the moment. That's the terrible thing about trying to use a development version of Rosegarden for real work. I understand your situation well. We need people to do what you're doing, and at least try to use the thing to accomplish real work, but it's a frustrating process where Rosegarden will become the beast that does everything it can to destroy your creativity in the process. I'm kind of happy to pass that torch along to a new generation, actually. I haven't remotely tried to do anything creative or useful with this new Rosegarden yet. Maybe by the time I do, I will stand a reasonable chance of actually making it most of the way through my first project before I slam my face into a brick wall and have to stop. Starting as early in the game as you are, you should buy a helmet my friend. :D -- D.
