Everything I wrote was all talk and no real thoughts about what is involved.
To me the easiest thing to do, is just put back the purple cursor and leave it
all alone for now, or do the combined cursor like I mentions.
Leave the rest for later and pretend we didn't talk about all of this.
I think at this point it is best to do the "least" amount of work in this area
and get RG out the door asap.
Everything sounds like a rewrite to me at this point, and we've got enough of
that as it is.
I'd like to just get this out the door and into the hands of the users.
We have enough new good stuff going that we don't "have" to resolve this in a
best way. We just need it to do what it did before. So that mean we need to
have it navigate staffs in a reasonable fashion.
That should be enough.
But I understand the urge to strike while the iron is hot -- to use an idiom.
