Concerning Jani's thoughts about the visibility of the large scroll widget.
I don't think the limits have to change, just the perception of where we are
reading the values.
In Jani's photo he showed the zoom at it's max (or min) with full blue across
the top.
The current version of the widget read from the center of the wheel in either
direction full blue bar / full white bar.
We can limit it like was mentioned--on both ends, or we could just pretend we
are reading from the top of the wheel.
In this scenario, the full blue on the top would be one extreme, and no bars
visible on the widget would be the other. So one click off this limit would
show a small blue bar on the top of the widget.
This, in effect, is like taking the read from the top visible section of the
widget.
Another alternative is to not alter the widget movement. Instead put some
small indicators on either side of the widget in the center to illustrate what
value to read from the widget. That way people using the widget understand a
little better what they are seeing.
