We just leave this up to the translators. At least one of them has translated "Rosegarden" to something that isn't written using the Latin alphabet. "玫瑰园" in Chinese. The string is visible in a lot of places, and Qt can't share one string across all translation contexts, so it appears once per context in most contexts, and therefore appears many times. When I think about this, it doesn't seem unreasonable. If Rosegarden were developed in Chinese, I would not understand "玫瑰园" as a proper name at all, so even though it is a proper name, that doesn't mean it has to remain written in its native writing system. Since it is not really possible to do a phonetic transliteration between a language like English and a language that does not really have a phonetic writing system, I imagine "玫瑰园" is probably a translation. -- D.
