Produces string:
Half-wave crescendo - set %1 rising from min to maxin a half [...]
I puzzled over what the hell "maxin" and "minin" were supposed to mean,
and then I realized what happened. No space.
This is why I strongly prefer to write strings inside a single set of
quotation marks, no matter how long the line is.
