You posted several patches I haven't had time to handle yet. They are high priority, but my time is very limited. I thought we were ready to build with Qt5, but I apparently lost track of something along the way. No problem. We can fix this. If the translation-related targets don't make sense in a cmake build system, then basically whatever seems convenient and reasonable is fine. scripts/make-ts etc. seems like a good way to go, but I don't have time to consider this carefully at the moment.
