Ok, seriously considering switching to git now that Philip is making significant contributions. git lets me act as gatekeeper for all changes a lot more easily than svn can. With svn it's "all access" or "nothing and a pile of flippin' patch files". It's a mess.

So, just a warning. I'm looking into it now.

I'm thinking we should probably keep the repo here on sourceforge since we have all this history here. I am currently using git on sf for acpid2 and it seems to work ok. It's clunkier than github, but simpler.

Chris, I know you did some work converting from rg svn to git at one point. Where was that and what process did you use?

Ted.
