Works for me. A bug fix is a bug fix even if we don't fully understand it.
The most puzzling aspect for me is why the bug does not happen with the
Ctrl+Z shortcut - this is going through exactly the same code as the
toolbar !!

It's probably not any worse than the current situation, and if it
crashes some obscure workflow there's always a ".1" emergency update.
Agreed. I've pushed it to master. Please, everyone, beat this up
as much as you can. 22.06 is Wednesday and I don't feel very safe
making changes like this so close to delivery. Anything you can do to
set my mind at ease will be appreciated.
