Rosegarden Developers:
I am writing an article about using my software product, the KeyMusician
Keyboard
<mailbox:///home/aere/.thunderbird/ox4j7zee.default/Mail/keymusician.com/Sent?number=9549&part=1.2.2>,
which is accessible to the blind, to unlock the use of synthesizers
depending on their LCD screens (which because of that, are not
accessible to the blind).
One of the things that will be very helpful for this article, would be
to distribute a zipped-archive of the contents of the
"~/.local/share/rosegarden/library" folder, which contains the presets
for over 200 synthesizers, two of which I contributed.
I wrote the KeyMusician Keyboard to be compatible with these synthesizer
definition (presets) files, so readers of the article could easily make
use of them.
I realize these are under the GPL public license, which allows
distribution using that license, but I want to check if that
distribution is okay with you, as well.
I use, and like Rosegarden, and document its use with the KeyMusician
Keyboard, but it does not appear to be accessible to the blind (using
screen-readers), and as with any sequence editor or digital-audio
workstation, that would be challenging to do.
I will be happy to submit the article I write for your review, to this
list, if you would like.
Sincerely,
Aere Greenway
