I have more updates, but I'm not sure if it would be better to send them gradually or to send a larger update later -- what would be more convenient?

I would recommend a gradual approach for backup purposes. Just keep adding new versions to the patch request. I'll keep the patch request open and merge in the latest when I have a moment.

But, if you'd rather do a larger update, we do a string freeze and merge in all the translations in the two weeks prior to a release. I send a notification to the users list about this. Be sure to subscribe. You can send your final update at that time.

  Whatever works for you.

Also, there is a string whose function I didn't understand:
S: -> <context comment>
It says "if the manual is translated into your language, you can"

Is it incomplete, perhaps?

  That's incomplete.  The full text:

TRANSLATORS: if the manual is translated into your language, you can change the two-letter language code in this URL to point to your language version, eg. "http://rosegardenmusic.com/wiki/doc:audioManager-es"; for the Spanish version. If your language doesn't yet have a translation, feel free to create one.

You can just leave those alone since I pretty sure we do not have a Portuguese version of the manual. The manual is quite outdated and would need a massive update before it could even be translated.

Ted.
