It's about 2 years old or more.  What is your script?  All of my Linux
machines are set up for audio, and it's always worked on all of them (my
other main audio machine is Fedora 7 with kernel 2.6.23.17).

How do I know if it is loading firmware other than look for the blinking
light? Is it a module that I could look for with lsmod?
