I'm currently stuck on V 11.06 because the later versions seem to have
a set of permanent bugs :(
(just tried svn 12920)

The first is that an audio segment doesn't show any contents for several bars
although it plays correctly. With some of my shorter segments this means I don't
get to see anything at all.

If you transpose a segment of a track, but leave the other segments as they
were it sometimes gets totally into a snit and won't let you correct things at
all. Indeed, the original transposition doesn't exist anymore and you'll get a
blank space in the list or several copies of the wrong number - I still haven't
worked out how to cure that but sometimes after a *lot* of messing about it will
correct itself.

If you set a volume level in the event editor near the start of a track it will
be ignored, and the value on the knob will be used, later volume levels will be
responded to. Also (and this has been a problem since the transfer from qt3) if
you stop and start the transport it will lose any volume changes you made and
go back to the 'knob' values. this is *extremely* annoying when you are trying
to get fades up/down right in the middle of a track.

If you have several tracks in place then when recording a new one (say number
6) the wrong instrument is sounded. It will be the instrument assigned to the
one of lower tracks, usually number 1. I get the feeling this crops up when you
move/change the designation of some tracks. I can get round this by reassigning
the tracks so I always record on number 1 but I shouldn't need to.
Oddly, playback is still correct.

In the matrix editor if you are rubber-banding a group of notes and get
anywhere near the edges of the window it will instantly scroll at very high
speed so you completely lose where you are and have to start again.

I'm sorry to be reporting such a long list of obscure bugs, but these are
really interfering with my workflow and I've been hoping they would get sorted
in the various releases.
