Hi, I wondered if there was a trick to using the notation editor with multiple drum parts, e.g. cymbal,kick,snare, etc. on one track? I'm finding it difficult to sequence these all on one staff line, even using the chord insertion tools with the previous note value being ignored. Currently I can sequence individual tracks easily with step recording, but adding the next overdub, e.g. adding the kick and snare to the ride cymbal is frustrating. For example, I have a ride cymbal that starts with a quarter note. However the bass/snare is a triplet 8th note at that point. Using chord insertion doesn't seem to help unless the notes are the same value. The simplest way I can see it working without being very frustrating is sequencing the drum parts on seperate tracks, but that makes the notation quite messy. How is this usually done in Rosegarden?
