Sorry, I meant 100 bars/measures, not tracks. For a step by step example: open a .mid file with Rosegarden. For my file, which is too big to include, I selected track #5 and changed the instrument program from Church Organ to Clarinet. Then I exported a MIDI file named something new. When I listened to the new MIDI file, only the changed track was heard and it also played immediately when it was originally supposed to come in later. Listening to the original .mid file, it played fine with all tracks heard, and the Church Organ track #5 coming in when it was supposed to.
