Would you mean a bug in the snd_hrtimer module ?
I'd be grateful if you could provide more details so that I can narrow down my 
investigations.

Thank you for the tips but, as a matter of fact, I am looking for a clock 
source providing a better resolution than the 1ms I get with the "system" 
timer.
As far as rosegarden is concerned, are the pcm* clock sources suggested in 
midi clocksource combobox a better choice ?
