Zon Owen and X12N/TG3/WG2 have once more graciously offered the ID & Routing group "face" time at an X12 meeting - this time *tentatively* scheduled for the X12 Meeting in Minneapolis at 1:30 - 4:30 pm, Tuesday, 2002-06-04, contingent on room availability. The X12C (Communications and Control) chair, Peter D. Pruyne, has expressed interest in having his group participate more fully in our endeavor, which will be especially appreciated since there's a lot of ebXML (standards development) experience in his sub-committee.
The June X12 meeting would be an ideal time for each of the ID & Routing groups to present their respective working papers. Powerpoint "slideware" presentations will also be welcome. Our senior co-chair, Peter Barry (I'm the "junior" co-chair only because of my extreme youth) has accepted Dave Frenkel's generous offer to serve as the working paper Editor. One of Dave's duties will be to ride herd on the paper authors to provide their drafts and slideware in time for the Open Forum meeting; a volunteer from each of the groups will be sought for presenting their own material.
