Hullo All,
I'm using RPCemu version 135 with RISCOS 4.39 roms, compiled with DYNAREC, and up until recently that was on Fedora 8 x86_64, and was quite useable. I have just moved to Fedora 9, and although it may only be coincidence, have just had a large dose of the 'repeating key' problem that had appeared quite a while ago. I say it may be coincidence because there has been a bit of a gap in my RPCemu usage, and previous use was mostly with much earlier version of RPCemu. The 'repeating key' problem, for those lucky enough not to have been afflicted by it, manifests itself when adding text into an editor, or in my recent case, adding text into a Publisher document. At a random point in the process a character starts repeating and off goes this endless string of chars, and nothing seems to have any effect in stopping it. I resorted to closing the document, but when it was opened again the chars were still being emitted at a great rate, despite having done nothing other than opened the doc. I even tried shutting down RPCemu after closing the doc, then starting the whole thing over again, only to see it still happening when the doc was opened.
It presents quite a serious limitation.
If anyone knows about this, is it possible for a fix to be applied to the SVN sources? I can try to provide whatever info is needed to track the little bugger down, if that is any help...the real difficulty being that it appears to be random.

Cheers,

Regards,
Terry Duell
