Didn't know the higher VRAM was already available. It is a very long time since I had to experiment with anything like this, so some further advice would be welcome on the following points. In my ...Boot.PreDesk.Configure.!Run file I have the line /<Obey$Dir> Bandlimit 38000 76000 152000 80000 Is that the relevant set of values? At present I'm using a screenmode that is 32k colours, 1280 x 700, 55 Hz. This is on a Laptop with an LCD screen that is 1366 x 768 pixels, so the above size for screenmode is fine. At present if I try asking for '32 million' colours via the mode icon on the iconbar it drops the resolution. I assume my first step is to change the specified VRAM amount to 4 or 8 MB. But I'm not sure what else may need changing. Will increasing some of the above bandlimit values (to what?) be enough? Or am I likely to also have to alter the Monitor Definition File I'm using? Since I'm emulating on a machine with an LCD I assume the frame rate can be lower than 55 Hz without problems. (I'm not playing any videogames or videos, so a low update rate isn't a worry for me.)
