No luck - I tried just about everything! I did get it working though - keymap did work, and 29 is the right code - I think I must have messed up the modifiers the last time I tried (it turns out randomly hitting keys isn't always the best idea!) As far as I can tell, the game is playable now - although mouse controls don't really work.
