I don't think you can.  I've tried to do this before, and I think
whatever arch you make the main package, the subpackages retain as
well.  So you'd either have to make the whole thing ix86, or the whole
thing no arch (or make two seperate packages based on the same
source).

No, and I don't think you can specify a numeric uid/gid either.  You
have to use the user/group names specifically.  This caused me
problems with the qmail rpms I was making and because of that had to
install the qmail users/groups on the system (not too nice for
building rpms as non-root).

Of course, if I'm wrong here, I would *love* to know about it... =)
But this is what I figure from personal experience.
