You may want to use another database for this.  RRDtool
is designed to normalize the data, it is hard or maybe
even impossible to overcome.

Have a look at the faq.mrtg.org site.  It explains this.
A lot that is valid for mrtg is also valid for rrdtool,
this is because rateup (a part of mrtg) is to be replaced
by rrdtool.
