yes it will.. on the next run , MRTG will notice the new LogFormat
directive and wherever your ".log" files are kept, you will have the
same files for each target, except they will be have the extension
".rrd".  MRTG has builtin hooks to convert the data to RRD format. 

 remember though, that you need a front end now to read the data, like
mrtg-rrd.cgi or write your own using rrdgraph.
