Hello Alexis, others,
I got the following from Chris Lilley:
>>>>
I haven't been staff contact for SVG for many years now, but this one is
easy. The correct reference is
https://www.w3.org/TR/SVG/
This will always point to the most current SVG specification.

Hope this helps.

Agreed that this is editorial. Let's fix it as part of the RSAB review.

When there is a reference to a web page, what is the title used in the
reference listing?
Oh, I guess there are 3 choices here.
Possible fix 1:
[SVG]
W3C, "W3C SVG Working Group", n.d.,
<https://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/>.
Possible fix 2:
[SVG]
W3C, "Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG)", n.d.,
<https://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/>.
Possible fix 3:
[SVG]
W3C, "Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG)", n.d.,
<https://www.w3.org/TR/SVG/>.
I changed the URL in one of my suggestions, now #3. This change is because
the page here:
https://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/
seems unmaintained. But the W3C does have this URL:
https://www.w3.org/TR/SVG/
which just goes to the latest SVG spec. There are more specific ones, like:
https://www.w3.org/TR/SVG11/
https://www.w3.org/TR/SVG2/
So there are two choices to make for this vague, but therefore timeless,
SVG reference:
A) Title
B) URL
In this listing, I like fix #3, but all of them are OK.
thanks,
Rob
