Yes, that works - Thank-you very much!!  

But, although it compiled OK, when I try to connect I get a connection refused.
I have setup both machines in etc/hosts and in /etc/hosts.allow - and i noticed
these files didn't exist on the NT machine (in etc/) and also that the NT
machine doesn't read /etc/hosts, but does read
/winnt/system32/drivers/etc/hosts.  So where do I put the hosts.allow file on
the NT machine? /etc in cygwin or in winnt/system32/drivers/etc/  ??
