That'll happen if you try to connec to a SSH 2 server with a SSH 1
client. Use a newer ssh client (or force it to use protocol 2 if
possible).
DO NOT install an older ssh server (or accept SSH 1 protocol connections
- SSH 1 can easily be captured (see eg. ettercap:-)
