Hi,

I do not understand your issue ;) rsyslog is a superset of sysklogd. So you can
simply use

*.* @remote-host

As in sysklogd.

I am still trying to find an efficient solution for loggin to a remote
location. sysklogd is supposed to do the trick however it is incompatible
with rsyslog. when i tried to remove rsyslog, there was a total of 525
packages there was going to be remove, so i decided not to.

Any body tried sysklogd?

thanks
