Hi, I do not understand your issue ;) rsyslog is a superset of sysklogd. So you can simply use
*.* @remote-host As in sysklogd. rainer ----- Ursprüngliche Nachricht ----- Von: "Jules Pagna Disso" <[email protected]> An: "rsyslog-users" <[email protected]> Gesendet: 13.02.09 05:41 Betreff: [rsyslog] need some thoughts here I am still trying to find an efficient solution for loggin to a remote location. sysklogd is supposed to do the trick however it is incompatible with rsyslog. when i tried to remove rsyslog, there was a total of 525 packages there was going to be remove, so i decided not to. Any body tried sysklogd? thanks _______________________________________________ rsyslog mailing list http://lists.adiscon.net/mailman/listinfo/rsyslog http://www.rsyslog.com _______________________________________________ rsyslog mailing list http://lists.adiscon.net/mailman/listinfo/rsyslog http://www.rsyslog.com
