Hi Rainer,

Since some weeks ago we run rsyslog 4.4.2 and unfortunately yesterday I
stumbled on rsyslog with "D"-state process again... so I guess that the
fix is somewhere else.

Can you please confirm which rsyslog version provides the solution for
this problem?
