Hi all, We have just release rsyslog 4.5.8, a member of the v4-beta branch. This is a bug-fixing release, fixing all those issues that have been reported the past weeks. Full details are available in the change log. This is scheduled to replace the current v4-stable, and conclude the v4 development efforts. So we would appreciate if you could give it a try and report any issues you see with it.

Best regards, Tom Bergfeld -- Support ======= Improving rsyslog is costly, but you can help! We are looking for organizations that find rsyslog useful and wish to contribute back. You can contribute by reporting bugs, improve the software, or donate money or equipment. Commercial support contracts for rsyslog are available, and they help finance continued maintenance. Adiscon GmbH, a privately held German company, is currently funding rsyslog development. We are always looking for interesting development projects.
