Hi folks, almost by accident, I learned today that rsyslog seems to be the default syslogd for SuSe as well:
http://www.novell.com/linux/releasenotes/x86_64/openSUSE/11.2/#10 I am a bit surprised I never heared about that change, but I have to admit I am quite happy that rsyslog now seems to be the default syslogd on (almost) all important distros...
