Hi, so here we go... :-)
After running for some days, the rsyslogd RELP input thread (pid 26858) is spinning at constant 100% cpu utilization again: http://biz.baze.de/debug/rsyslog/debug-on-demand/rsyslogd-pstree.txt I've uploaded various debug files: http://biz.baze.de/debug/rsyslog/debug-on-demand/ Sorry that I can't open up the rsyslog-debug.log for everyone (debug on demand logfile), because it contains sensitive stuff... I have one new and interesting fact: The RELP input thread started going crazy at the time (+- some minutes) where several clients where completely disconnected from the network (someone pulled the plug). However, there is no way to bring this thread back to normal operation. Even after restoring the network connection to these clients and getting them reconnected, the thread is broken. New messages from these reconnected clients arrive and make it into the logfiles on disk just fine. Hope this helps, John _______________________________________________ rsyslog mailing list http://lists.adiscon.net/mailman/listinfo/rsyslog http://www.rsyslog.com
