hallo to everyone on the list.

I am using rsyslog version 5.8.0.

My /etc/rsyslog file is at [1]

With the above config, a typical message in message log looks like following:

Jul 24 16:35:53 localhost ntpd[1279]: synchronized to 89.221.207.113, stratum 2

However i would like to modify it so that it will look like the following:

Jul 24 04:35:53 PM localhost ntpd[1279]: synchronized to 89.221.207.113,
stratum 2

I have read the rsyslog documentation and looked at different rsyslog config files via google, but i cannot seem to find any example nor can i find any property replacer which does the above.

So, am i missing any obvious hint or is it not possible to do this ?
