I don't really want get in this, but in reality David is right, if you would like something to get answered, you should probably not ask the mailing list to learn another logging system, because this is an rsyslog mailing list, not syslog-ng. When I ask questions I try to read the documentation that the guys suggest, and that helps me learn about the system and try to improve it, if I get stuck then I ask questions to see if someone has any experience with it, but do not expect them to learn an entire system for me.
