I have checked the debug log that was on the probably related bug tracker
at:

http://bugzilla.adiscon.com/show_bug.cgi?id=208

There, it looks like the client librelp version causes problems (just a
hypothesis so far).

That brings me to: which version of librelp do you use on client and server?
