I does work that way. I think many people walked away from your original 
announcement for the github repos thinking that you were taking everything from 
the Adiscon repos and pushing it there, and not accepting pull requests on 
github. 

It will definitely help how that it is officially called out that you are 
accepting pull requests on github. Might not be a bad idea to possibly make a 
blog post or an official notice email on this distro stating that you are. (So 
it isn't lost in an email thread like this one.)

Well, maybe it's my failure to understand github, but usually in git a repo is 
a repo ... so you clone it, you publish it and you send me a pull request (or 
patch or whatever...). I fetch/merge it and finally push it up to my repo. So I 
wouldn't see a problem with using the github one.

Does that standard workflow not work with github?
