Hi everybody, This is my first message to the list ...
I am having problems with rsyslog service. I use rsyslog to log remote messages from other devices and sometimes I do an audit task to determine the loss percentage. In the last audit I have detected that the server has a problem logging remote messages. I have checked network status and I can determine that the problem is in the operating system, not in the network. So, for this reason I think that rsyslog is discarding remote messages but I can't detect it (I can't see anything in /var/log/syslog and in /var/log/messages). Are there any directive that allows to have more threads/pools to prevent this problem? Any idea? Thanks in advance.
