Hi all, as it looks, 7.6.5 also seems to have some issues, at least on CENTOS 6. I have asked Andre to pull the version off the archive. This morning, we have been analyzing the problem and it looks like something goes pretty wrong during startup.
It turns out that it was a pretty bad idea to release another v7 version after so many month of release inactivity on that branch. Since 7.6.3, there have been a lot of patches to the codebase. While all of them work well in v8 (at least no problem reports seen), they seem to have troubles with the v7 codebase. Given the fact that v7 is dead from the projects PoV, I am spending considerable effort to get this dead thing back to working (instead of coding productive things in the active v8 branches). To solve the issue, I'll now see if I can start with 7.6.3 and chery-pick some of the important patches and leave out less important ones. Hopefully this will result in a 7.6.6 that finally works again. For the time being, I suggest staying with 7.6.3. Sorry for all the hassle. In the future, I'll be even more careful with creating new releases of no longer supported versions.
