Hi all, as we discussed some SuSe-specific issues recently on the list, I thought I may be able to obtain some help. I am currently working to remove at least some of the deprecated symbols. For json-c, I have crafted this patch:
https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/commit/3c250f307959e3d22f1c1f05ff5a5f6c6c727442 It works e.g. on Ubuntu, but on openSuSe (downloaded a couple of days ago & kept current), it does not detect the presence of json_object_object_get_ex() BUT (!) still has the deprecated warning. So it looks like my configure check seems to fail on SuSe (again). Any advise?
