I researched if mirroring ppa's is possible, but it seems like it is not. There is some kind of sftp access but it does not work. RSync is not enabled as well. So the only thing left would be to grab the stuff by http and copy it manually.
Alternative does somebody know if we can enable archives in the ppa somehow? This would solve at least the downgrade issue.
