Say, someone wants to parse an xml message. I don't know Im just cooking it up.

Im not for Lua really, just neutral. If we have someone that feels
very strongly about it, they can probably come up with more compelling
usecases.

But I think your post makes it fairly clear why it should not be
chosen as the main language.
