Hi All,

* If tcp connections breaks for some reason with remote server(may be because of server down),

Does the rsyslog reconnects (tcp) to server automatically once it comes up.

Yes, the sender will periodically retry

* Is it possible to configure rsyslog with multiple servers and ports. If yes what is the limit

a given output has one destination, but you can use features around 'if the last thing failed' to provide failover to another one. and ther eis no limit on how deep this sort of thing can go.

A better approach is to make the receiving systems failover/load balanced and have the sender disconnect and reconnect eversy X messages (rebind interval)

Also, when TCP is broken, all messages in flight are lost, you need to use RELP to avoid loss in this situation.
